March 17th, 2015

2015ESP

At Borgman Ford, we want to ensure you’re getting the best service at the best prices. We strive to lead our customers to the endless benefits Ford offers their customers. Visit our page for an even more comprehensive look at Ford’s ESP plans.

Why Buy a Ford Extended Service Plan?

We’re proud to say that it’s plan is the ONLY extended service plan (ESP) backed by the Ford Motor Company. By paying for future repairs at today’s ESP cost, you will be protected against inflation and increasing parts and labor costs. It’s as simple as this: one repair bill can easily exceed the price of your Ford ESP coverage. The coverage can quickly pay for itself!

What is included in every service plan:

  • Service at all Ford and Lincoln dealers in the U.S. and Canada
  • Genuine Ford parts and service – all repairs are made with genuine Ford parts by factory trained and certified technicians
  • 24-hour roadside assistance (call 1-800-241-3673 toll free)
  • Rental vehicle benefits – provides coverage for up to 10 days of rental for a covered repair
  • Interest free payment option – finance your coverage in monthly installments with no interest or fees; everyone qualifies

So which of the four main plans is right for you?
From foundational coverage to Ford’s most exceptional coverage plan, read below and find out what level is fit for you.

Ford ESP PowertrainCare is the foundation for all new vehicle component plans. If you want the advantages of a Ford extended warranty but only want major mechanical component protection due to budget or other reasons, this is the plan for you. 29 vital components covered for New and Used vehicles.

Ford ESP BaseCare is the next step up from the Ford ESP PowertrainCare, offering a broader range of component protection. It’s for those that want a basic, yet thorough Ford extended warranty. 84 major components covered for New and Used vehicles.

Ford ESP ExtraCare provides the additional component coverage to the BaseCare plan and includes many high-tech items. If you want the advantages of a Ford extended warranty and the security of more comprehensive protection, this is the plan for you. 113 major components covered for New and Used vehicles.

Ford ESP PremiumCare provides the ultimate Ford extended warranty coverage. The plan is so complete that we only talk about what is not covered. It’s for those that want the advantages of an ESP with maximum component protection and high-tech coverage. Over 500 key components covered for New and Used vehicles.

Throwback: Mazda RX-7 one of Best ’90s Sports Cars

August 1st, 2014

MotorWeek recently dug through some archives to announce the best sports cars of the ’90s. Come to find out, the Mazda RX-7 was one of them. The announcer stated that consumers were “drooling over it’s sexy bodywork.” Apparently back in 1993, “lean and mean come to mind when we dream of the Mazda RX-7 performance” and the cockpit was described as “tight and intimate.” The car sported one air bag, the drivers side. Oh, how technology and luxury has changed for Mazda. the new sports cars and roadsters that are available now are much more innovated, but that doesn’t take away from the excitement in the ’90s!

Here’s the complete video, fit with a few other flashback cars, too.

Congratulations to Audrey TeBos, Winner of the $5,000 Giveaway!

December 13th, 2013

audreytebos_winnerAudrey TeBos not only got a “new best friend” when she purchased her Ford Focus SE last month…to her surprise she also received a nest egg to help launch her career.

At first, the recent Grand Valley State University graduate  thought the multiple messages from Borgman Ford’s Matt Cameron were an unusually enthusiastic  follow-up to her recent purchase. But when she found out that in fact she’d won $5,000 in Borgman’s Cash Giveaway, to say she was shocked would be an understatement.

“I couldn’t believe it. I had to pinch myself. In fact, I still can hardly believe it,”  the 24-year-old said Friday when she visited the dealership to pick up her check.

The cash couldn’t come at a better time for Audrey. As a GVSU graduate who majored in Sports Management, she’s on a countrywide search for the perfect job to launch her career in collegiate athletics.

“I may have to to move for employment purposes, so this will help make for a very good start,” she said.

The team at Borgman is delighted that the Cash Giveaway winner turned out to be a young graduate starting out, and that the money will help launch her job search and ultimate career move.

“This is just like watching someone open a great gift on Christmas morning,” said Matt Borgman, General Manager, after meeting with Audrey to deliver her check.

Audrey’s brother, Chris, has other ideas about what she should do with her winfall, centering around gift-giving. He’d like a PS4 in his stocking. However, Audrey thinks sister-Santa may not be squandering her new-found nest-egg on games when things like rent and relocation loom.

Autoblog Declares the 2014 Mazda 6i the “Best Midsize Sedan You Can Get”

November 1st, 2013

2014-Mazda-6i-Grand-Touring-review-notes-mazdaAutoblog declares the 2014 Mazda 6i Grand Touring the ‘best midsize sedan you can get,’ complimenting each of the renovated features. We at Borgman Mazda couldn’t agree more; with such a ‘handsome’ interior, sleek exterior, and improved EPA fuel economy rating, what’s not to appreciate? Read these excerpts from the Autoblog editors and visit the complete review here.

Excerpts:

“The ride/handling is taut; cornering is flat with excellent body control, the steering mostly accurate (wanders a bit on center, but not much). The harder you drive it, the more you fling it around, the better it is.” – Editor Wes Raynal

“…The 2014 Mazda 6 is an outstanding midsize sedan in every respect, and should be on the must-drive list of any shopper considering a Honda Accord, Ford Fusion or Toyota Camry. It’s a return to what made this category so popular in the first place, and a reminder of what car companies can build when they stop designing for the lowest common denominator.” – Digital Editor Andrew Stoy

“To my eye, it’s a handsome car with clean looks with just the right amount of attitude sprinkled in. The subtle character line that flows from the headlights back onto the front doors is a nice touch, and Mazda’s new company grille looks quite nice up front.” – Road Test Editor Jonathan Wong

Autoblog calls 2014 Mazda3 the “Best Driver’s Car in the Compact Car Segment”

October 8th, 2013

2014-mazda3-sedan-fdAutoblog has called the 2014 Mazda3 the ‘best driver’s car in the compact car segment,’ and we at Borgman Mazda are inclined to agree. Just like the CX-5 and Mazda 6, we’re loving the integrated, ground-up design. Read a few excerpts of Jeremy Korziniewski’s review, then check out the page, complete with video interview, at Autoblog.com

Here are some excerpts:

“Mazda has engineered its latest crop of vehicles – namely the CX-5, Mazda6 and its smaller sibling and subject of this test, the Mazda3 – from the ground up. Absolutely everything about the Mazda3 is refined for 2014, from its chassis to its engines and everything in between, and it was done in a completely new and holistic way. Every component, subcomponent and stamping required to bolt and weld together an automobile was rethought to ensure the Mazda3 has what it takes to compete with established benchmarks…”Autoblog reviewer Jeremy Korziniewski writes.

“The 2014 Mazda3 looks awfully pretty in pictures, but its shapes are even better when viewed up close and personal. As the latest car to benefit from Mazda’s Kodo design language, the 3 draws plenty of inspiration from the CX-5 and Mazda6, both of which we think are rather attractive vehicles.”

“…The 3 is the best driver’s car in the compact car segment. Steering is a delight, aided by a rack-mounted electronic power steering unit and front-end geometry that is exactly the same as that of the well-regarded RX-8 and the current MX-5 Miata…”
